Okay, so everyone knows that James Franco is still vying for the “Busiest Man in Hollywood Award” and his latest project is, no surprise here at all, a catchy commercial for Droid Turbo by Motorola. The best bud of Seth Rogen has made a number of cell phone advertisements, and why not. At the rate that James works, he can probably knock a record number of these one minute ads out in a day, or two.

Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler is the creepy confident news stringer who teaches himself the ropes and the film will strike a jarring chord with all who watch it. The movie’s unflinching look at the six o’clock news coverage of the terrible things that happen to the public, aka their viewing audience, by the use of roving camera teams will change how Mr. and Mrs. Average will see the news in general. American Horror Story Freak Show used the second half of the Edward Mordrake two parter to show the origins and tears of Twisty the clown. Instead, the “two-faced” ghost, or demon, learned of several freaks’ deepest secrets, sins and hopelessness. A penalty that all had to pay after Mordrake visited them.

The halloween party held at the Playboy Mansion featured some pretty awesome sights for party goers with Playmates showing up wearing body paint costumes and zombie waitresses who served champagne to the various private groups in the building. Zombie girls also worked as mini bartenders at several different reserved areas for VIP guests who paid that little bit extra to celebrate the spooky holiday a few days early in the house that the “bunny built.”
